Massimo's Hout Bay
Famous for their delicious pizzas, Massimo's in Hout Bay even has it's very own doggy menu! The menu includes tasty options such as bone-shaped mini-pizzas with ham and root veg, and frozen hooves stuffed with chicken and butternut. What's not to love?
River Cafe in Sandton

You don't have to leave your pet at home! Pets are welcome at the 12 Apostles Hotel and are treated with specially selected rooms, beds, bowls and pet menus. Ensure you give prior notification to your reservations agent who will gladly forward you a copy of their pet policy document.

Antbear Lodge - Drakensberg, KwaZulu- Natal
Antbear lodge is one of the few pet-friendly accommodation spots in the Drakensberg area. There is plenty of open land, dams, and other farm animals to keep your dog intrigued. They also have fenced-in accommodation should you need to leave your pet behind to explore sites where pets aren't welcome.

De Waal Park (Cape Town CBD)

Leadville Dog Park (Sunningdale, Cape Town)
This dog park is shaped like a bone! No kidding. Leadville is a fairly new dog park located in Sunningdale, along the West Coast. Visitors have free entry, access to poop scoop bags, a water fountain, large fenced off areas for dogs to roam off leash. There are even designated areas for smaller, shy dogs.
Echo Dog Park (Fourways)
The Echo Dog Park in Fourways, Johannesburg is the ideal place to take both young pups and adult dogs. This is an area where dogs can socialise and run freely without a leash, to their hearts content. The park also provides weekend dog training sessions for owners who need a bit of a helping hand. There are even Sunday Morning hikes every week that you and your pooch can take part in.
