Composition
Pro-Soothe Shampoo contains:
- Witch Hazel 10% – Astringent and soothing properties to calm irritated skin.
- Glycerin 5% – A moisturiser that draws moisture from the environment onto the skin, hydrating the epidermal layer.
- Colloidal Oatmeal (Avena sativa) 2% – Coats the skin and moisturises, softens, and helps soothe its itchy, dry condition.
- Ichthammol 0.6% – Possesses natural anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce red and itchy skin.
- Triclosan 0.2% – Enhances the mildness of surfactants on the skin and supports skin hygiene.
Pro-Soothe Shampoo is pH-neutral and non-irritating. It is formulated to protect the natural acid-mantle of the skin, which helps guard against bacterial and fungal infections.
Indications
Pro-Soothe Shampoo is recommended for pets suffering from excessive scratching, dry, itchy, or irritated skin.
Directions for Use
- Shake well before use.
- Wet your pet’s coat thoroughly with warm water.
- Apply sufficient shampoo to work up a mild lather.
- Massage into the coat and skin, then leave on for 5–10 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Repeat as often as required.

Good if you can get them to bath!
Bathing is traumatic for cats so the instruction that it should be left to lie on the animal for 10 min didn't really work as they were trying to lick it off. It works up a good lather with just a little shampoo so it lasts longer than expected. The fur was glossy after bathing with it. Doesn't kill the mites or anything causing the itching but it can help a little to soften scabs. More than one treatment is needed.

Great for fungal infections
This thick and creamy shampoo means that a little goes a long way. It doesn't have a fabulous fragrance, but it does smell clean and it foams well. It cleans the skin and fur wonderfully. It has helped so much with my dog's ringworm treatment and ensured that her skin was kept clean and free from scales. Left her fur very shiny for days and she was still clean three days later before requiring her next medicated bath. An excellent shampoo.
